We introduced this coat back in the ’80s, and though the name has changed, the mission remains: to marry our decades of winter-in-the-Midwest know-how with soft flannel and authentic tartan plaids. The Bayfield Parka does exactly that. Inside you’ll find that (previously mentioned) flannel, which we’ve brushed for a soft hand and yarn-dyed for long-lasting color. Outside is a wax-coated cotton-rich shell that stands up to wind, rain and snow alike, outfitted with all the bells and whistles – including 40 grams of PrimaLoft insulation for warmth, a three-piece adjustable hood with a visor, dual-entry hip pockets, a full-zip front with an element-blocking storm flap and a cinch at the waist that lets you adjust the shape.
